Oh Hello Fashion Week!

And so its Fashion Week. For the next seven days the New York City streets will be filled with the who's who of fashion. Manolo's and Louboutins will click clack up the steps of Lincoln Center and throughout the city. I got to admit I wish I was there in the middle of that madness. After watching several shows on style.com I complied a piece of what caught my eye so far for Fall 2014.

 Rachel Roy
I love the combination of bold blues, plums and reds. The added sex appeal with the lace is the icing on the cake. I like the play on the skirt. With the lengthy look along with the play of  asymmetrical elements and fabrics the Rachel Roy girl is cleverly sexy.

 M Missoni

The M Mission collection is really unique. The brand displayed knit pieces in earth tones with pops of color. The M Missoni girl will be sporting oversize cozy coats with bold abstract prints in gold, green and red. If you look closely there were combinations of wool gauchos pants paired with chunky knee high leather boots. For  fall 2014 make sure you have several beanies hats to keep the cool factor on max.

 BCBG Max Azria
The BCBG runways were blanked with off white dresses with linear stripes of plums, blush and greys. Luxurious outfits for fall will feature navy, grey, camel, blush with leather and fur details. The added sophistication to the look was the fur scarf, muff, and  at one point I did a double head turn when I saw a fur skirt.

  1. Rachel Roy is top notch. I generally like her designs so much. BCBG MaxAzria is usually a favorite but I did not like this collection as much as I have in the past other than the fur trimming, of course.
